Fix common problems

Peek did not hear me

Check Settings → Voice & Audio → Input. Then check macOS System Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone.

Peek cannot see or act

For screen questions, check Screen & System Audio Recording. For pointing, clicking, typing and global shortcuts, check Accessibility. Both are under macOS Privacy & Security. Open Peek Settings → Permissions and press Check again.

Shortcut or pointer trouble

Another app may own a shortcut. Change it in Settings → Shortcuts. If Peek points at the wrong place, tell it “the other one,” or press Esc and ask again. Peek removes old highlights after a view changes.
