See when Peek captures your screen, what stays on your Mac, and how to exclude apps or view history.
Peek captures the screen when you ask a question. Your voice is turned into text on your Mac. To answer a screen question, Peek sends the question and one screen image to its AI service. Peek does not record a video of your screen.
In Settings → Privacy, choose Screen context: Around the cursor, Active window or Entire screen. Use Privacy mode and Never capture while these apps are in front for apps Peek should avoid. Enter app names separated by commas.
Use Open history to see saved answers and dictations. Peek never types passwords, card numbers or sign-in codes for you. See the privacy policy for full details.
