Privacy policy
Peek is built so that most of what it does never leaves your Mac. This page explains exactly what does, and why.
Last updated: 2026-10-04
Stays on your Mac
- Your voice and its transcription (speech recognition runs on your Mac).
- Peek's spoken voice.
- Dictation into other apps.
- File actions such as combining images into a PDF or shrinking a PDF.
- Your answer history, and only if you turn on "keep history".
Sent only when you ask a question
When you ask Peek something, it sends one screenshot of the screen you're using and your question to the service that answers it. For Peek Pro and Peek Max, the request goes through Peek's servers. Screenshots are not stored after the answer and are not used to train models. Apps you add to the excluded list are never captured.
Your account
For Peek Pro and Peek Max we keep your email address, your subscription status and a count of how many questions you've asked this month (to apply fair-use limits). Payments are handled by our payment provider; we never see your card number.
Your choices
- Turn off spoken answers, captions or history in Peek's settings.
- Exclude apps from capture.
- Delete your account by writing to us; we remove your account data within 30 days.
